Thus, this knowledge carries us out of the realms in which we retain a sense of control over our own destinies. Faith alone gives access to our God. Thus, the faith of the believer does not rest upon anything else but Jesus. Neither signs of blessing nor signs of suffering will be taken as proof that the believer’s
